The ingredients needed to make Kesariya halwa:
  1. Prepare 1/2 cup sama (bhagar)
  2. Get 3 tablespoon ghee
  3. Make ready 1 cup sugar
  4. Take 1 cup water(250) ml
  5. Prepare 1 1|2cup milk
  6. Prepare 2 cardamom powder
  7. Make ready as needed Kesar, dry fruit

Rava Kesari is delicious and easy to make, usually made on festive occasions. This is a quick fix sweet especially if you have unexpected guests. Put more ghee in the pan and stir-fry rava until it turns brown. The sweet beetroot halwa was too good - the only item I asked for more.

Instructions to make Kesariya halwa:
  1. Grind bhagar in grinder roughly.
  2. Take a pan add ghee and bhagar and stir it continuously in slow flame for about 10 min.
  3. Add water and let it cook for 5-8min. Add milk and cook for another 5 min.
  4. After bhagar has cooked well, add sugar and mix well then add some dry fruits cardamom powder.
  5. Take hot milk add kesar and dissolve kesar in milk.
  6. Add kesar milk to bhagar and mix well.

Put more ghee in the pan and stir-fry rava until it turns brown. The sweet beetroot halwa was too good - the only item I asked for more.
