The ingredients needed to make Bottlegourd Bhagar:
  1. Make ready 1 cup Bhagar
  2. Take 1 tbsp Ghee
  3. Prepare 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  4. Prepare 1 tsp red chilli powder
  5. Take 2-3 Green Chillies (Slit into half)
  6. Make ready 1/4 cup Peanuts (Crushed)
  7. Make ready 1/4 grated bottel gourd
  8. Take to taste Salt
  9. Get 2&1/2 cups water
  10. Take Handful Chopped coriander leaves

Instructions to make Bottlegourd Bhagar:
  1. Wash the bhagar and drain using a soup strainer.
  2. Heat ghee in a pan.
  3. Once the ghee is hot, add cumin seeds, and green chillies and let them crackle for a few seconds.
  4. Add peanuts and fry until they turn brown.
  5. Add grated bottle gourd.
  6. Now add bhagar and salt in the pan.
  7. Add water and mix gently.
  8. Cover the pan and cook on low heat until bhagar is softened and all the liquid is absorbed.
  9. Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot.
