The ingredients needed to make Aalu chutney samosa:
  1. Get 20 Samosa Patti (cut into 4 piece each)
  2. Make ready For Chutney:
  3. Get 2 medium boiled mashed Potatoes
  4. Prepare 4-5 tbsp Tamarind pulp
  5. Take 1 pinch Tatri
  6. Get Food colour as u like
  7. Prepare 1/2 tsp Salt
  8. Prepare 2-3 green chillies
  9. Prepare 1/2 tsp Crushed Red Chillies
  10. Take 1/2-1 cup Warm Water
  11. Make ready 1/2 tsp roasted cumin
  12. Prepare For sticking:
  13. Get 1/2 cup Flour
  14. Make ready Water to make paste

People used to make it for Ramadan, Eid, guest visits, rainy weather, etc. These samosas are made of Aloo (potato) and are known by the name of Aalu ka samosa or Aloo kay samosay. They are served with ketchup or chutney. This samosa is very easy to make.

Steps to make Aalu chutney samosa:
  1. For Samosa: - Mix flour and water in a small bowl to make a thick paste. - Fold empty samosa Patti into a triangular shape using the sticky flour mixture to glue it shut.
  2. For Chutney: - Blend boil mashed potatoes with salt,red chilli, green chillies, Chinese salt,Tatri, imli pulp, cumin powder, food colour and warm water into paste. See consistency. It should not be very thick. Add more water of needed.
  3. Then fry samosa into medium hot oil and serves with tangy yummy potato chutney..
  4. Done.
