The ingredients needed to make Easy Oven-baked Fried Chicken:
  1. Make ready 2 Chicken thighs
  2. Take 1 clove ●Garlic (grated)
  3. Get 1 piece ●Ginger (grated)
  4. Prepare 1 tbsp ●Soy sauce
  5. Take 1 tbsp ●Sake
  6. Prepare 3 tbsp ●Beaten egg
  7. Make ready 1 ●Salt and pepper
  8. Get 6 tbsp Katakuriko
  9. Prepare 1 tbsp Sesame oil

Pour small amount of oil in shallow baking dish. Lay chicken breasts, boney side up. Pour Panko into a shallow mixing bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and toss and rub with fingertips to evenly moisten.

Steps to make Easy Oven-baked Fried Chicken:
  1. Cut the chicken thighs into bite sizes. Put into a plastic bag and add the ● ingredients. Rub well. Squeeze out the air from the bag and tie tightly. Leave the bag in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Transfer the bag contents into a bowl. Add the katakuriko and rub until the excess moisture is gone. Add sesame oil, and rub in.
  3. Line an oven tray with baking sheet. Arrange the prepared chicken with spaces in between, and bake at 220℃ for 25~30 minutes. Transfer the cooked chicken into a serving plate and serve.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes if using a toaster oven.

Pour Panko into a shallow mixing bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and toss and rub with fingertips to evenly moisten. Remove the pan from the oven and use a spatula and turn the chicken over. Remove the chicken from the oven, and drain on paper towels. Dip chicken pieces in egg mixture; thorougly coat all sides with potato flake mixture.
