The ingredients needed to make Chicken, mushrooms and potatoes in beer:
  1. Make ready Enough potatoes for everyone, parboiled & cooled
  2. Take 300 g chicken breast, sliced
  3. Take Sprinkle of cornflour
  4. Make ready 1 onion
  5. Make ready 200 g mushrooms (I used frozen porcini)
  6. Get Half a can of beer
  7. Make ready to taste Salt and pepper
  8. Take Oregano
  9. Take Olive oil

Mix the spices with the fruit beer and smear the inside and outside of the chicken with it. While you leave the chicken to soak up the flavors, clean the vegetables. Cut the sweet potatoes into pieces, and put some oil to heat in a pan. Fry the finely chopped onion, garlic and mushrooms.

Steps to make Chicken, mushrooms and potatoes in beer:
  1. Get your potatoes ready. Toss chicken in cornflour
  2. Fry potatoes in olive oil for about 5-6 mins on medium heat until they crisp up. Add mushrooms and onions. Continue cooking for another 4-5 mins.
  3. Add chicken and brown. At this point add the beer. Let it evaporate
  4. Stir and cook for another 6-8 mins until chicken cooked and sauce is creamy. Add salt and pepper to taste and a sprinkle of oregano, enjoy :)

Cut the sweet potatoes into pieces, and put some oil to heat in a pan. Fry the finely chopped onion, garlic and mushrooms. Bake in the oven until it's left in just oil. Sprinkle the onion slices in the bottom of a large roasting pan. Add the olive oil to the drippings in the pot.
