The ingredients needed to make Steak & Cheese Hoagie:
  1. Take 2 Large NY Strip Steaks
  2. Prepare 1 Large Onion
  3. Prepare 8 oz Sliced Mushrooms
  4. Prepare To Taste Salt & Pepper
  5. Take 1 Tablespoon Liquid Smoke
  6. Take 2 Tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  7. Prepare 8 Slices Provolone Cheese
  8. Take 4 Hoagie Rolls
  9. Get Mayonnaise
  10. Make ready Sliced Pickles
  11. Make ready A1 Steak Sauce

Instructions to make Steak & Cheese Hoagie:
  1. Thinly slice steak into small strips.
  2. Cut an onion into wedges.
  3. Preheat large skillet with vegetable oil on medium heat.
  4. Salt and pepper the steak well and toss with the liquid smoke to coat.
  5. Separate the onion and cook in the skillet for 3 minutes or until starting to turn translucent.
  6. Add the steak and the mushrooms.
  7. Cook until steak is no longer pink.
  8. Melt provolone cheese over the steak.
  9. On a toasted hoagie roll: put mayo, 2 pickle slices, and drizzle A1 Sauce.
  10. Add the steak and cheese.
  11. Fold and serve!!
