  1. In a mixing bowl take boiled, mashed potato, add 1 cup flour, egg and start kneading.
  2. Add 1 and 1/2 cups flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt and knead well to make a dough.
  3. Dust some flour and form long, thin logs out of the dough.
  4. Cut the logs into little pieces.
  5. Take a piece of dough, press it on the back of a fork and drag outwards to make the gnocchi.
  6. Make all the gnocchi like this and place those on a well floured plate.
  7. Boil water, add salt as per taste and boil the gnocchi. Don't crowd the kadhai. Boil in batches.
  8. When the gnochhis float it is time to remove those from the water and place those in a strainer or a colander.
  9. Heat olive oil in a kadhai and fry the gnocchi on medium heat until they are golden brown.
  10. Heat butter in the kadhai, add minced garlic and fry until golden brown.
  11. Add rosemary, thyme and basil.
  12. Add fresh cream, freshly ground black pepper, salt as per taste and mix it well on low heat.
  13. Now add the gnochhi to the kadhai and cook it for a few minutes stirring constantly.
  14. Add milk and mix properly.
  15. Cook it for 3-4 minutes and remove from the heat.
