  2. Prepare 50 grams Butter
  3. Prepare 30 grams Sugar

Steps to make Quick and Easy Cookies with 3 ingredients:
  1. Soften the butter in the microwave.
  2. Cream the softened butter and sugar in a bowl.
  3. Sift in the cake flour into the bowl, and continue mixing.
  4. When the dough comes together, place the dough between 2 sheets of plastic wrap, and roll out the dough until it is 5 mm thick.
  5. Take off the plastic wrap on top, and cut out the dough into any shape you like.
  6. Place the cookies onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake in the oven preheated to 170°C for 12-15 minutes.
  8. For matcha cookies: Add 2 g of matcha to half the ingredients listed above. For cocoa cookies: Add 5 g of cocoa powder to half the ingredients listed above.
  9. For cinnamon cookies: Add cinnamon as much as you like to the cookie dough.
  10. I decorated the cookies with my child using chocolate decorating pens.

Mix peanut butter, sugar, and egg together in a bowl using an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Roll mixture into small balls and arrange on a baking sheet; flatten each with a fork, making a criss-cross pattern.

Eggs, believe it or not, can be truly wonderful at beating back depression. You need to make sure, though, that what you make includes the egg yolk. The egg yolk is the part of the egg that is the most important in terms of helping you cheer up. Eggs, the egg yolk particularly, are rich in B vitamins. The B vitamin family can be terrific for lifting up your mood. This is because they help improve the function of your neural transmitters, the components of your brain that control your mood. Try eating a few eggs to jolly up!

Make several trail mix of nuts or seeds. Your mood can be improved by eating peanuts, almonds, cashews, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, etcetera. This is because these foods are high in magnesium, which helps to increase serotonin production. Serotonin is the “feel good” chemical that directs your brain how you feel at all times. The more serotonin in your brain, the more pleasant you’ll feel. Nuts, on top of improving your mood, can be a super protein source.

Cold water fish are wonderful for eating if you wish to battle depression. Salmon, herring, tuna, mackerel, trout, etc, they’re all loaded with omega-3 and DHA. Omega-3 fatty acids and DHA are two things that promote the quality and the function of your brain’s grey matter. It’s true: consuming a tuna fish sandwich can greatly boost your mood.

Grains can be excellent for overcoming a bad mood. Quinoa, barley, teff, millet, etc are all great for helping you feel better. They help you feel full as well which can really help to better your mood. It’s not hard to feel a little bit off when you feel hungry! The reason these grains are so good for your mood is that they are not hard for your stomach to digest. They are simpler to digest than other foods which helps kick up your blood sugar levels and that, in turn, improves your mood.

Your mood could truly be helped by green tea. You were just expecting to read that here, weren’t you? Green tea is loaded with a particular amino acid referred to as L-theanine. Studies have discovered that this amino acid actually stimulates brain waves. This will improve your brain’s concentration while at the same loosening up the rest of your body. You already knew green tea could help you feel better. And now you know green tea can help improve your mood as well!
