  3. Take 1 pint spaghetti sauce see my recipes
  4. Get 1 cup white sauce see my recipe ground beef Croquettes with whit
  5. Take As needed almond noodles see my recipe
  6. Make ready Sausage Dish
  7. Make ready 15 ounces sauerkraut
  8. Get 1/2 pound smoked sausage
  9. Get 1 medium pear
  10. Take 1/3 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  11. Get 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  12. Get 1 tablespoons maple syrup
  13. Take 1 medium apple
  14. Make ready 1/2 cup walnuts
  15. Take 1/3 cup raisins
  16. Make ready 1/2 large onion sliced
  17. Get 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt

Towards the end of the week it was time for a wonderful Smörgåsbord. When you have leftovers it's time for a Smörgåsbord. I learned this from my late Great-aunt Annabel. Anything that wasn't eaten at mealtime was saved in the icebox.

Steps to make Smörgåsbord, Mini-sized:
  1. Toast the walnuts. Add syrup to the walnuts when toasted, along with the clove and nutmeg. Set aside.
  2. Peel, core, and dice the apple and pear.
  3. Remove casing. Slice the sausage into bite sized pieces on a bias. Add the sausage, apples, pears, and raisins to the sauerkraut, and sauté. Add seasoned salt.
  4. When the sausage is done, Top with the walnuts.
  5. Get the meatballs. Slice them into quarters. Fry till crispy. Add first half to the spaghetti sauce.
  6. Serve spaghetti sauce with meatballs with some of the almond noodles
  7. Add the second half of fried meatballs to the white sauce from my recipe beef courgettes with white sauce. Serve over almond noodles.
  8. Serve the dishes. I hope you enjoy the Smörgåsbord!
