  7. Get 2 pounds ground beef
  8. Take 1 tablespoon fennel seed for the second half of meat mixture
  9. Make ready As needed vegetable oil to deep fry in
  10. Get Sauce——————
  11. Get 1 medium onion diced
  12. Take 2/3 teaspoon seasoned salt
  13. Prepare 1-1/4 cup sour cream
  14. Make ready 1-1/2 cup Pesto sauce see my recipe pesto
  15. Make ready Spaghetti—————–
  16. Take 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  17. Prepare 1 tablespoon extra Virgin olive oil
  18. Take 1 pound spaghetti noodles
  19. Make ready 3 quarts water
  20. Make ready 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  21. Get 3 tablespoon chopped parsley flakes

  23. Prepare To taste your favorite shredded cheese optional

How to Make Spaghetti and Meatballs: Cook pasta according to package instructions until aldente (or to desired doneness), drain and return to the empty pot. Pour sauce and meatballs over spaghetti and toss gently to combine. To serve family-style, transfer to a large platter, garnish with parmesan cheese and fresh basil and serve hot. Place a large pot of water on to boil for spaghetti.

Steps to make Emerald Spaghetti and Meatballs:
  1. Heat a pot with oil to deep fry. In a pot Boil the water with oil and salt.
  2. Mix the meatball ingredients together.
  3. Make sure it is mixed well.
  4. Form into marble sized meatballs.
  5. Deep fry in vegetable oil.
  6. When half the meat is made into meatballs add the fennel seed.
  7. Move the meatballs to a paper towel to absorb excessive amounts of oil.
  8. Drain most of the oil. Add the diced onions. Sauté till tender.
  9. Season with seasoned salt. Move the onions out of the oil. There was about a tablespoon leftover after frying.
  10. Add the spaghetti and boil as instructed on package.
  11. Make the pesto, stir in the fried onions, and then mix with sour cream.
  12. Mix the meatballs with the sauce.
  13. Drain the spaghetti noodles and add the butter, kosher salt, and parsley flakes.
  14. Mix till the parsley covers all the pasta. I use the parsley with other spices to actually see where the spices are in the food. Everywhere the parsley is the rest of the spices are and where it isn't then you know that you need to mix some more.
  15. Serve I hope you enjoy!

To serve family-style, transfer to a large platter, garnish with parmesan cheese and fresh basil and serve hot. Place a large pot of water on to boil for spaghetti. When it boils, add salt and pasta and cook to al dente. Mix beef and Worcestershire, egg, bread crumbs, cheese, garlic, salt and pepper. Place as many meatballs that you can fit into the pan without overcrowding.
