The ingredients needed to make Mung dal paniyaram:
  1. Take 1 cup Mung dal
  2. Make ready 1/4 cup rice
  3. Get 1tsp salt
  4. Get 1 onion chopped
  5. Make ready 1 tsp green chilli ginger paste
  6. Make ready 1/4 tsp ts baking soda
  7. Make ready Oil for roast

I served it with Allam Pachadi (Andhra Ginger Chutney). In Andhra, Paniyaram are called Paddu or Gunta Punugulu. Grind soaked Moong dal, green chilli and ginger in a mixer. Grind it till it becomes a rough paste (Not smooth paste).

Steps to make Mung dal paniyaram:
  1. Soak the dal and rice for 2 hours
  2. Now grind both
  3. Add chopped onion chilli paste and spices
  4. Take appam stand
  5. Grease it with lil oil
  6. Beat the batter properly
  7. Put the 1spoon batter in each whole.. Put drop of oil..
  8. Roast it till golden brown..
  9. Change the side of paniyaram
  10. Ready to eat

Now put this mixture in a bowl and add salt, dextrose, finely chopped Coriander to this.
