  1. Prepare As needed Idly Batter for 15 idli
  2. Make ready 3 Onion chopped
  3. Prepare 5 Green Chillies
  4. Take 1 bunch Coriander leaves
  5. Take 1 sprig Curry leaves
  6. Take 2 cup Mint leaves
  7. Get 3 tbspn Oil for frying
  8. Take 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  9. Take 2 tsp Urad Dal
  10. Make ready 2 tsp Gram Dal
  11. Get 1/4 tsp Mustard

Instructions to make Kuzhi Paniyaram / Spicy Pan Cake:
  1. Take idly Batter and mix well keep it aside. Consistency should be like idly batter
  2. Step for frying ingredients : Heat pan and add mustard. Let it papaya the add green chillies onion and saute till it gets golden brown colour
  3. Add Curry leaves, mint leaves and coriander leaves and saute for 5 to 6 mins
  4. Add salt and switch off. Leave the fried ingredients to cool down
  5. Steps for cooking Paniyaram
  6. Add the cooked ingredients into batter and mix well
  7. Heat kuzhi Paniyaram pan and add little oil and pour the batter in pan
  8. Cook until the outer layer become think and crispy
  9. Turn upside down and sprinkle oil
  10. Serve with Chutney / Sambar
