The ingredients needed to make Instant paniyaram (phaddu, appe):
  1. Get 1 cup Semolina (Rava)
  2. Get 1/4 cup curd
  3. Prepare Salt - 1 tsp or as per taste
  4. Prepare 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  5. Make ready Water - as required
  6. Prepare 1/4 cup Onion, green chilli, few coriander leaves - Chopped
  7. Get Oil - few drops

Once the oil is slightly hot, pour the batter in Appe Pan cavities. This is my quick to go, easy and tasty breakfast recipe. Paddu,Guliyappa,Gunta ponganalu, Kuzhi paniyaram, Appe are the different names for this dish. Guliyappa is afamous and common breakfast dish in South India.

Steps to make Instant paniyaram (phaddu, appe):
  1. Add 1 cup semolina and curd in bowl. - Add chopped vegetables and salt in it.
  2. Add water as required in it. Mix well make soft batter like idli batter. - Now add baking soda in it mix well close lid and keep aside for 20 min.
  3. After 20 min mix well the batter once again.  Add few drops of oil in the phaddu mould.  - Now add spoon of batter in mould close the lid and cook for 3 min or till it's done on low flame.
  4. After 3 min check out it's done or not. After that turn it and cook from other side for 2 min.
