The ingredients needed to make Rava paniyaram:
  1. Make ready 1 . Rava / Semolina - 1/2 cup
  2. Take 2 . Rice flour - 1/2 cup
  3. Prepare 3 . Sour yogurt - 2 tbspn
  4. Make ready 4 . Baking soda - 1/4 tspn
  5. Make ready 5 . Greenchilli - 1 chopped
  6. Get 6 . Onion - 1 medium chopped (optional)
  7. Get 7 . Coriander leaves - 2 tbspn chopped
  8. Make ready 8 . Salt
  9. Prepare 9 . Water (almost 1/4 cup)
  10. Take 10 . Oil for drizzling - 1 to 2 tbspn

Steps to make Rava paniyaram:
  1. Mix together semolina, rice flour, baking soda and sour yogurt.
  2. Add water littile by littile to make a thick batter. Set aside to rest for 10 minutes.
  3. After 10 minutes, add Greenchilli, onion, salt and coriander leaves. Mix well. Keep aside.
  4. Heat a paniyaram tawa, drizzle 1/4 tspn oil into each cavity and spread with a brush.
  5. Pour batter into the cavities, filling 3/4 each cavity.
  6. Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
  7. Remove lid and when the underside turns golden, turn to the other side with a wooden skewer.
  8. Cover and cook golden and crisp on both sides. - Serve hot with coconut chutney.
