The ingredients needed to make Vegetable paniyaram:
  1. Prepare 1 kg Idli batter
  2. Make ready 1 onion Chopped
  3. Prepare 1 cup mix vegetable (carrot, green Shimla mirchi cabbage)
  4. Take 1/2 tsp pepper powder
  5. Make ready to taste Salt
  6. Take as needed Oil
  7. Get 2 green chilli Chopped

Paniyaram is a popular south Indian breakfast dish usually made with leftover idli or dosa batter. Here I have made it with a blend of rice with chana dal (Bengal gram) and urad dal (skinned and split black gram). Kuzhi Paniyaram is basically a popular South Indian breakfast dish. Instructions to make Vegetable paniyaram:
  1. In a batter mix all the things except oil and keep aside for 5 minutes
  2. In paniyaram plate heat and put some oil drops in them and fill the batter in them. Cook for 5 minutes and filp the paniyaram and cover and cook for 5 minutes….
  3. The paniyaram is ready….. Serve with green chutney and sauce….

Kuzhi Paniyaram is basically a popular South Indian breakfast dish. It is generally made using the left over Idly Dosa batter in a cast iron paniyaram pan. But my mom never made them using left over idly batter , she always made the batter for Paniyaram from scratch and it had chana dal along with rice. Take paniyaram batter in a bowl, all the ingredients & mix well. Heat paniyaram tawa (Iron casting tastes better than other material) & grease with oil then pour batter.
