The ingredients needed to make Easy Paniyaram:
  1. Prepare 1/2 cup semolina
  2. Take 1/2 cup rice flour
  3. Get 2 tablespoons curd
  4. Prepare 1 small onion chopped
  5. Take few curry leaves chopped
  6. Get 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  7. Take to taste Salt
  8. Take 1 tablespoon oil to fry
  9. Get as per taste Green chilies chopped

I have already shared paniyaram recipe but this is a authentic recipe for the chettinad kuzhi paniyaram handed down to me by my perimma. She made it once brought home, it was delicious. heat paniyaram pan / guliyappa pan / appe pan, add add few drops of oil inside the holes. now fill the holes with a tbsp of sooji batter in each. cover and simmer for a minute or untill appe gets cooked slightly. once the base turns golden, flip it over to the other side using a spoon. Steps to make Easy Paniyaram:
  1. Take semolina and rice flour in a bowl and mix it
  2. Take all the other ingredients
  3. Mix all ingredients(except oil) and add water to adjust the consistency
  4. Grease the paniyaram mould with oil and pour the batter till 3/4
  5. Fry both the sides and serve with coconut chutney
