The ingredients needed to make Vegetable Paniyaram:
  1. Make ready as needed Dosa Batter
  2. Make ready 1 Carrot grated
  3. Prepare 1 Capsicum finely chopped
  4. Take 1 Onion chopped
  5. Prepare 2 Green chilli chopped or as needed
  6. Get as needed Red chilli powder
  7. Make ready 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  8. Take as needed Salt
  9. Take as needed Oil

Next add finely chopped green chillies and curry leaves, fry for a minute. Paniyaram is a popular south Indian breakfast dish usually made with leftover idli or dosa batter. Here I have made it with a blend of rice with chana dal (Bengal gram) and urad dal (skinned and split black gram). Kuzhi Paniyaram is basically a popular South Indian breakfast dish.

Steps to make Vegetable Paniyaram:
  1. In dosa batter add the vegetables, chopped onion and all the masala. Mix…… it
  2. Heat the paniyaram chatti. Add a few drops of oil in each mould. Pour the dosa batter in the mould upto 3/4 of the mould. Cover and cook for 5 minutes. In between flip the paniyaram once or twice. Cook till it become light brown in colour. Once it is done. Transfer to a beautiful plate.
  3. Ready to serve with Coconut chutney
