  1. Make ready 1 cup wheat flour
  2. Take 2 bananas
  3. Make ready 1 cup sugar
  4. Get Pinch salt
  5. Make ready as required Water
  6. Make ready as required oil for deep fry

To make these banana appam, its best to use slightly coarse rice flour. Instructions First powder the jaggery and mix all the ingredients wheat flour, rice flour, mashed banana, cooking soda, cardamom and salt with water.

  2. In a mixer jar add banana and grind into a fine paste. Now add the paste in mixing bowl.
  3. Add water little by little and make like idli batter.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan. Now add the batter deep fry it in a medium flame.
  5. Wheat banana paniyaram is ready.
