Vegetable Paniyaram is a South Indian breakfast recipe made from idli/dosa batter and known as kuzhi Paniyaram in Tamil,Paddu in Kannada and Gunta Ponugulu in Telugu. Drop the batter to fill the mold. Then turn and cook on the other side. Turn again if necessary to make sure the paniyaram is evenly cooked on both sides and its nicely golden in colour.

The ingredients needed to make Vegetable Paniyaram:
  1. Get 1 cup sooji
  2. Get 1/4 cup curd
  3. Take as required Water
  4. Get As per taste Salt
  5. Get 2 tbsp Ginger green chilli paste
  6. Get 1small cup Carrot
  7. Take 1small cup capsicum
  8. Take 1small cup onion
  9. Take 1small cup tomatoes
  10. Prepare As required Oil

Paniyaram is a popular south Indian breakfast dish usually made with leftover idli or dosa batter. Here I have made it with a blend of rice with chana dal (Bengal gram) and urad dal (skinned and split black gram). Kuzhi Paniyaram is basically a popular South Indian breakfast dish. It is generally made using the left over Idly Dosa batter in a cast iron paniyaram pan.

Instructions to make Vegetable Paniyaram:
  1. Take sooji in a bowl. Add curd, water and mix well.
  2. Keep it aside for 1 hour. Finely chop all the vegetables. Now prepare a tadka with oil, mustard seeds, curry leaves and asafoetida. Now add the tadka in the batter.
  3. Add all the vegetables mix the batter well.
  4. Put the pan on flame and spread oil well using brush. Once the pan is hot, pour the mixture in each hollow sphere. Let it cook for 2 minutes.Turn it to the other side and let it cook for a minute or two.
  5. Paniyaram is ready. Serve it with ketchup. Enjoy!!

Kuzhi Paniyaram is basically a popular South Indian breakfast dish. It is generally made using the left over Idly Dosa batter in a cast iron paniyaram pan. But my mom never made them using left over idly batter , she always made the batter for Paniyaram from scratch and it had chana dal along with rice. Take paniyaram batter in a bowl, all the ingredients & mix well. Heat paniyaram tawa (Iron casting tastes better than other material) & grease with oil then pour batter.

They can help you feel full for longer too, which is a mood improver. It’s easy to feel low when you feel hungry! The reason these grains are so good for your mood is that they are easy to digest. You digest these grains more quickly than other foods which can help boost your blood sugar levels, which, in turn, helps make you feel better, mood wise.

Studies have found that this specific amino acid can actually stimulate brain waves. This helps focus your mental energy while at the same time relaxing the rest of your body.
